Preethi Transport Agency is based at 41276 Kasarwadi, situated right next to Siddharth Motors. Working in transport is a bit of a tough business because things are always moving and it is hard to keep a strict schedule. We spend most of our time on the telephone talking to drivers or trying to figure out exactly where a truck is on the road. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs, a desk, and a lot of logbooks and ledgers. Kasarwadi is a good location for us because it’s easy for the vehicles to get onto the main highways from here. We deal with moving goods from one point to another, and it is usually just basic cargo. It involves a lot of waiting for trucks to arrive and then a big rush to get everything loaded and the paperwork signed. We have had many long nights at the office when a shipment is running late or a vehicle has broken down somewhere far away. That is just how the transport business works. We don’t have a corporate office or a big team of managers. It is just a few of us making sure the logs are updated and the routes are planned. Sometimes the traffic is just terrible, and everything gets delayed by hours, which is quite stressful. We just try to be honest with people. It is just how things go for us.
