Precitek Components

Our workshop for Precitek Components is located at Bhosari Narinder Nagar 177/2. It’s an area full of workshops and small factories, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. We make small components that most people never see, but they are important for whatever machine they go into. Inside our place, it’s all about the lathes and the measurement tools. We spend a lot of time squinting at small parts and making sure the edges are smooth. It’s not a clean job; our hands are usually stained with oil by the end of the shift. We have a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but it’s mostly covered in metal shavings and old blueprints. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. We like the fact that we can fix our own machines when they break down instead of calling someone else. The heat from the grinders makes the shop warm, especially in the summer months, so we keep the big doors open for a breeze. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they know we are here at 177/2 and they know what kind of work we produce. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and it suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and finish the batch that’s due by Friday.
