You can find us at 9 Vishal Appt in the Shriram Society over in Warje. Precision Instruments & Engineering is basically a small workshop and office rolled into one. As the name says, we work with instruments, so things have to be handled carefully. Our desks are usually covered in tiny tools and lenses. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in here, especially when we have a few people working at once. We’ve been in Warje for years and watched the neighborhood grow up around us. The apartment building is a regular place, not some shiny glass office tower. Most of our neighbors are families. We try to keep the noise down so we don't bother anyone. We spend a lot of time calibrating things and checking numbers. It’s slow work and you can’t rush it. Sometimes we spend the whole day on just one piece of equipment. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just the owner or one of the senior guys answering the phone. We like it that way because we can talk directly to the person who needs help. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news when things aren't too busy. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours, and we take some pride in getting the small details right without making a fuss about it.
