Pratik Bottles

Pratik Bottles is tucked away in Dhanakawadi, specifically around the Padshah Ni Pole area. If you know these lanes, you know they can be a bit tight and hard to navigate with a vehicle. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small front area where we handle everything. There are stacks of crates everywhere, and the sound of glass clinking is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We deal with all sorts of containers, mostly for people who need them for their own small businesses or home use for storing oils and spices. It’s a dusty job because bottles just seem to attract it, no matter how much we clean them. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights outside to attract attention. Most people find us because they’ve been told we’re here in the Pole by someone else. The building is old, with those thick stone walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice when we are moving heavy boxes around. We spend a lot of time counting things by hand and making sure nothing is cracked or broken in the crates. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy packaging or a sales team in suits. It’s just us, the bottles, and the occasional delivery truck trying to navigate the narrow street outside without hitting anything. Sometimes we sit out on the front step when it’s quiet and just watch the people go by.
