Prabhakar Plastic Industries

Prabhakar Plastic Industries is situated out near the Uday College area in Vadgaon, specifically at Talegaon Phata 63/98. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it gives us more room to run our machines. We have a fairly large space where we handle all the molding and shaping of plastic items. The building is part of the Kumar Aengan area, which is a mix of small workshops and local spots. Most of our workers live in the surrounding villages and have been coming here for a long time. The floor is usually covered in some plastic scraps or dust from the grinders, but that is part of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom because most of what we make goes straight into boxes and onto trucks. Some days the heat from the machines makes the whole place feel like an oven, but we just open the big shutters and keep at it. It’s a straightforward business where we focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the plastic sets properly. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are checking an order. Usually, you’ll find the owner out on the floor rather than sitting in an office. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We’ve been at this spot for years and don't plan on moving anytime soon.
