Poona Hospital & Reasarch Center

Our place is Poona Hospital & Reasarch Center, located at Chintamani Appartment, 587 Kasba Reth. It’s a bit of a unique spot because we are part of this apartment building area. It feels more like a part of the neighborhood than a big isolated institution. We have been here for quite some time, helping out whoever comes through the door. It’s a mix of a hospital and a research center, though most people just come in for regular medical help like fevers or minor injuries. The space is a bit tight sometimes because of the building layout, but we make it work. Kasba Reth is an old part of town with narrow streets, so it can be a bit tricky for people to navigate if they aren't used to it. We have a lot of regular patients who have been with us for years. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't use a lot of complicated medical jargon when we talk to people. We just tell them what’s going on in plain English. The staff is mostly local people too. We spend a lot of time organizing records and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s just a normal, hardworking place in the heart of the old city area. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital, just a reliable one for the folks who live around here. We know the neighbors and they know us, which is how we like it. It keeps us pretty busy.
