Pooja Nursing Home

Our nursing home is tucked away at number 80 in the Surekha Tulshibagwale Colony. It’s part of Sahakar Nagar, which is a nice, lived-in part of town. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. It isn't a huge facility like the ones you see in the city center. It feels more like a house because it’s right there in the middle of a residential area. We have a few beds and a small area for people to sit while they wait. The trees outside provide some good shade, which is nice during the hotter months. We don't really do much advertising. People find us through word of mouth or because they live just down the street. Our staff is local, and we all know how to get things done without making a big fuss. Sometimes the gate squeaks when it opens, and the front garden needs a bit of weeding, but we focus more on the people inside. It’s a practical place. We keep the files in cabinets and write things down by hand quite a bit. There’s a kitchen where we make tea, and the smell of it often drifts through the halls in the afternoon. It’s just a regular nursing home trying to help out the folks in the colony. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, and we like it that way.
