Chinus Boutique

Chinus Boutique is run out of Row House Number R- 1/ 3 in the Shubhasree Woods society. We are located in Pimple Saudagar, which is a nice residential area. Since it is a row house, it does not feel like a cold, empty shop. It feels more like a home, which is something we actually like. We have set up the space to hold our collections and materials, but it is still part of a house. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood or friends of friends. We do not have big glass windows or mannequins standing on the street. People usually call us before they come over to make sure someone is there to open the gate. It is a quiet way to do business. We spend our days sorting through fabrics, looking at designs, and sometimes just chatting with whoever drops by. It is not a fast-paced environment. We take our time with things. Sometimes the house gets a bit messy with threads and scraps of cloth everywhere, but that is part of the process. We do not have a marketing team or a website manager. We just show people what we have and if they like it, that is great. Living and working in the same area means we do not have a long commute, which is a relief. It is a simple setup for us, and we plan to keep it that way for the foreseeable future.
