Pawana Hospital

Down in Somatane Phata, which is part of the Maval district, you’ll find Pawana Hospital. It’s situated right there near the Phata. This makes it easy for people traveling along the main roads to stop by. This area is a bit away from the big city. We get a lot of people from the surrounding villages and the taluka. The building is a solid structure. It isn't anything too fancy. It was just built for the job. We have a lot of space inside. This is good because it can get quite crowded on market days. The air out here is a bit better than in the center of town. That is a nice change for us. We spend our days dealing with a bit of everything. We see farm accidents and the usual seasonal flu. There isn’t a lot of "big city" polish here. We talk to people in the local language. Everyone knows everyone else’s business around here. The staff stays in the quarters nearby. Someone is usually around if there’s an emergency in the middle of the night. It’s a quiet life most of the time. Sometimes the traffic at the Phata gets backed up and it gets noisy. We have the basic equipment we need and a few beds for people who have to stay over. It’s just a regular hospital serving the Maval area as best as we can every single day.
