We’re up on the 4th floor of Highway Towers, right on the Mumbai-Pune Road in Chinchwad. Being near the highway is convenient for travel, but the traffic noise is something we’ve just had to get used to over the years. We’re an engineering firm, so the office is usually covered in drawings, blueprints, and various project files. It’s not always the neatest place, especially when a big deadline is coming up. We have a small team here at Pawana Engg. Projects. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We spend our days looking at technical specs and talking to contractors. It’s honest work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which isn’t great, but it’s part of the charm of the place. We have a little pantry where we make tea and take small breaks. We don’t try to sound like a giant multinational. We’re just a local engineering team trying to do a good job on the projects we take on. Chinchwad is a busy industrial hub, and we fit right in with the rest of the businesses around here. We just focus on the drawings and the site visits. It’s a lot of sitting and calculating, followed by some driving around.
