We’ve been operating out of the Wanoworie area for a while now. It’s a decent part of town and we’ve gotten used to the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. Our business is pretty simple; we handle various supplies and small equipment that people need for their own daily work. The office isn’t much to look at, just some metal desks, a few computers, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking what we have left in the inventory. It can get a bit repetitive, but it’s what keeps us going. We don’t really have a big staff here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything during the shift. One day you might be checking a crate that just arrived and the next you’re trying to fix the coffee machine or the printer. We try to stay organized, but sometimes things get a bit hectic when several orders come in at the same time. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years and they know how we like to do things. We don't use any complicated systems, just the basic stuff to keep track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. It works for us and keeps the overhead down. We just want to make sure the stuff gets where it’s supposed to go. It is a steady way to spend the day.
