Paint Technologists

We are Paint Technologists and we work out of Kothrud. Even though the name sounds a bit technical, we are really just a bunch of guys who know a lot about how paint sticks to different surfaces. Kothrud is a big place, but we have our spot here where we keep all our equipment. We deal with things like damp walls or surfaces that just won't hold color right. It isn't just about slapping a coat of paint on; sometimes you have to figure out why the old stuff is falling off. We spend a lot of time looking at walls and deciding what kind of primer or base is needed. It gets a bit messy with all the mixing and testing we do. People in Kothrud come to us when they have a problem that a regular paint job didn't fix. We have been here for several years now. The workspace is filled with tins and different chemical smells, which you get used to after a while. We don't have any fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It is not always easy to explain why paint behaves the way it does, but we try. It is a steady life. We wake up, head to the site, and spend the day covered in dust or paint. That is just how it goes for us. We stay busy because there is always a house in Kothrud that needs a bit of help.
