Omkar Salon

Omkar Salon is situated right in the heart of Pune City, in the 411002 area. We’ve been around this part of the city for a long time. It’s a very traditional neighborhood with lots of narrow streets and old buildings. Our shop is just one of those small local places where people come for their regular grooming. We don't have a very specific street address beyond being in this central part of town. It’s a simple room with a couple of chairs and the basic equipment we need. Most of our customers are people who live or work nearby in the city area. We know them by name and they know us. The pace here can be a bit slower than the newer parts of Pune, which we like. We spend the day cutting hair and chatting about what’s going on in the city. There’s no fancy decor here, just the things that are necessary for the job. Sometimes we run out of water or have power cuts, but that’s just life in the older parts of the city. We just deal with it and keep going. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. It's just a local salon where you get a haircut and maybe a shave. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. It is our little corner of Pune where we work.
