Dapodi 2 is where we started Omkar Packing & Movers because people here really struggle when they shift houses. It’s not a fancy job. Most of our days are spent wrapping up glasses in old newspapers or trying to fit large wardrobes through narrow doorways. A small crew of guys works with me, and they know how to lift heavy things without breaking their backs. Most work comes from neighbors telling each other about us. Traffic near the station can be a mess, but we try to show up on time regardless. A few old trucks keep us busy. There isn't a big office with air conditioning here. Usually, you’ll find us on the floor taping up cardboard boxes or loading crates. Local folks know where to find us if they need a hand moving kitchen stuff or a bedroom set. It is hard work, and by the end of the day, we are usually covered in dust and tape residue. Handling the packing and the driving is what we do so you don't have to deal with it. We've been at this for a while, keeping things simple and moving items from one spot to another. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use fancy software, just a notebook and a phone to keep track of the schedule. Most days are long but we just keep moving along. It is just about getting the boxes from one house to the next house safely.
