We operate around the Kothrud and Thergaon 2 areas, helping people with their living spaces. Our work is mostly about visiting homes and looking at how things are set up. We aren't based in a big glass building. Usually, we are out on the road going from one site to another. People call us when they feel like their house isn't quite right or when they are starting to build something new. We look at the directions and where the sunlight comes in. It is based on the old ways of Vastushastra, but we try to keep it practical for modern flats and offices. We carry a compass and sometimes we have to draw out little maps on the spot. It's interesting to see how different people live and what they want for their families. We talk to the homeowners about where to put the kitchen or which way the beds should face. Sometimes we have to suggest small changes that don't cost much but make a difference in how the room feels. It is quiet work and we don't do much shouting about it. Most people find us through word of mouth from their neighbors. We just enjoy helping people get their homes in order according to these traditions. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just common sense and the rules we learned over many years. It is a simple life traveling between neighborhoods and talking to families.
