Manik Vastu Bhandar

Manik Vastu Bhandar is over in Manchar, specifically in the Mazgaon area. It’s a quiet place compared to the big cities. We deal with various items people need for their homes. Most people in the village know where we are. We don’t have a big sign with flashing lights. It’s just a simple storefront. We open up early because that’s when people are out and about. We have a lot of things crammed into a small space, so you might have to ask where something is. The floor is concrete and the roof is simple. When it rains, you can hear it really clearly on the top. We spend our time sorting through the inventory and helping whoever stops by. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it’s slow. There isn't much more to it than that. We’ve been in Manchar for a long time and plan to stay. We don't do fancy advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past on their way to the market. It’s a straightforward business. We keep our books manually and try to keep things organized as best as we can in such a small space. We don't use fancy computers for much. It works for us.
