Mahalaxmi Gruha Vastu Bhandar

We are located on the Kothrud Nagawara Main Road which is usually full of traffic and people going about their business. Mahalaxmi Gruha Vastu Bhandar is a place where you can find mostly everything you need for a home setup. We have rows of steel utensils and plastic items piled up to the ceiling in some places. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren't used to it but we know exactly where every single item is stored. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the shelves because the road outside is so busy. Most of our customers are locals from Kothrud who have been coming to us for years. They know they can find a replacement lid for a pot or a new bucket without having to go to a big mall. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. It is just a simple shop with a lot of practical stuff for daily life. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a bit while we are unloading a new shipment. It feels like a real part of the community here. We handle the sales ourselves and usually wrap things in old newspapers to keep them safe for the walk home. It’s not a complicated business but it keeps us busy from morning until we pull the shutters down at night.
