Om Plastics

We are located out on Telco Road in the MIDC area, specifically Plot Number 2 at Survey Number 99. It’s part of the GIDC Estate in Shivaji Nagar, near Manjusar. If you know the Savli Road area, we aren’t too far from the main turn. We work with plastics here. The facility is basically a large shed with a lot of molds and raw materials stacked up against the walls. It smells a bit like melting plastic most days, which is normal for what we do. We produce different items, mostly things people use in other industries. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the machines and making sure the shapes come out right. The yard outside usually has a truck or two loading up. We don't have a big sign out front, just the plot number mostly. It's a busy part of the estate with lots of traffic from the nearby factories. Inside, it's fairly simple. We have our workstations and a small corner for tea breaks. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The rain hits the roof pretty hard during the monsoon, making it tough to hear each other over the machines. We just keep our heads down and get the production numbers met. It’s a straightforward business. No bells or whistles, just plastic parts being made day in and day out. We just try to get the work done and keep the facility running smoothly.
