Om Plastic Molding & Engineering

Om Plastic Molding & Engineering is based in Shivane, inside the Mangal Kiran Tower, specifically B 81/5. It’s an industrial unit where we have our molding machines set up. The place gets pretty hot because of the heaters we use to melt the plastic. We make all sorts of small plastic parts for different uses. The machines make a lot of clicking and thumping noises throughout the shift. We have bins full of raw plastic pellets sitting in the corner. Sometimes the molds get stuck and we have to spend an hour fixing them. It’s a hands-on job and we are usually covered in some kind of dust. We aren't a big factory, just a small operation. We started with one machine and added another one a few years back. The office part is just a small desk in the corner of the workshop. We don't really have space for a lobby or anything. Most of our clients are other businesses who need parts made. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are in the tower. The floor is always covered in tiny bits of plastic scrap. We try to sweep up at the end of the day but it’s hard to get it all. It’s a simple life of making things and shipping them out. We enjoy the work even if it’s repetitive sometimes. It keeps us busy all day long and pays the bills.
