Om Construction

We run Om Construction out of our office in the Himalaya Industrial Estate. It’s specifically at D 11, Survey No 92 in the Mukund Nagar area of Jadhav Wadi. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks moving around all day. We do mostly local building work. If someone needs a wall put up or a small house built, they usually find us here. We keep our tools and cement mixers around the back of the estate. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk with a lot of blueprints and some old coffee mugs. We’ve been working in this part of town for quite some time now. Our crew is small, just a few guys who have been with us for years. We don't do anything too fancy, just solid work that stays up. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when the rain hits and we have to stop pouring concrete. Then we just hang out in the shed and wait. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. We wear our work clothes and get dirty every day. It’s an honest living and it keeps us busy. People come by to talk about their projects and we just figure out a way to get it done. It's not a complicated business, just bricks and mortar and a lot of heavy lifting. We like being part of the local scene here in Mukund Nagar. It’s a dusty job but someone has to do it.
