O Space Architects & Associates

We are located right on the ground floor over in Kothrud, near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway 48. Being so close to the highway means there is always a bit of a buzz around the office. O Space Architects & Associates is what we go by, and it’s a small group of us working here. The ground floor spot is handy because we’re always moving heavy rolls of drawings and equipment in and out. Kothrud is a busy part of town, so there is no shortage of things to see out the window. Our space is pretty functional, mostly just desks, computers, and a big table for meetings. We don't have any fancy decorations or a lobby. People usually just knock and come in. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at screens, trying to get the lines straight. The associates and I have worked together for a bit now, so we have a rhythm. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we manage. Sometimes the traffic on the highway makes it hard to hear, but you just talk louder. We focus on getting the job done without overcomplicating things. There’s always a lot of coffee being drank and a lot of trash in the bins by Friday. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to solve problems and make sure the buildings we design actually work for the people using them. It’s simple and it is just what we do.
