O D C Roadlines

We’ve got our office at Nigidi 304. It’s a straightforward place where we handle the daily grind of the roadlines business. Most of our work involves sitting at our desks and coordinating with drivers who are out on the long routes. It gets pretty repetitive sometimes, but it’s what we do. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals pasted on the walls. It’s just a room with some files and phones. We spend a lot of time on those phones, honestly. There’s always someone calling about a delay or a new load that needs to be picked up. Nigidi is a good location for us, even if the building is nothing special. We try to be honest with people about how long things will take. Sometimes the roads are bad and there’s nothing we can do but wait. We drink a lot of coffee and tea to stay sharp. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy. We’ve been in the 304 spot for a while now, so the routine is pretty set. We just want to get through the day's tasks and make sure the cargo is moving. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of business. We’re just regular people trying to manage a lot of moving parts at once.
