Getting to Kumar Paradise is usually a bit of a trip because of the traffic on the Hadapsar Mundhwa Bypass. We are in Building A1, Flat No A201. It’s funny having an office in what looks like an apartment building, but it actually works out pretty well for us here at Nordson India Pvt Ltd. Pune can be a bit chaotic with all the new construction and the bypass roads always being busy, but once you get inside Mundhwa, it’s a bit more settled. Our space is 411036, if you’re looking at the mail. We’ve got a view of the street from the window, and you can see people rushing to work every morning while we settle in with our coffee. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything. It’s just a flat that we’ve turned into our workspace. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't really have a big sign or a fancy reception desk. People just knock on A201 and come in. We spend our hours mostly at our desks or talking over the things we need to finish by the end of the week. The building has a lot of families too, so you hear kids playing or someone cooking lunch in another unit. It makes the whole work day feel a lot more human and less like a sterile office environment.
