Our shop is right in Samta Colony, over in the Rajwadenagar part of Kalewadi. If you know the Sunraj Bukey place, we are just opposite that. It’s a busy street in Pimpri, especially in the late afternoons when everyone is out. We do a lot of work on car electronics, fixing things that go wrong with the wiring or the dashboard lights. The space inside isn't very large, so we often have tools and wires sitting out on the benches while we work. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Pune traffic means there is always someone coming in with a busted indicator or a battery issue that needs looking at. We spend a lot of time bent over engines or looking under steering wheels. There isn't a lot of room for customers to sit, so they usually stand around and chat with us while we look at their vehicles. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and know most of the people who live nearby. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the front door during the monsoon season, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a simple operation. We open up early and stay until the last job is finally done. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the local community here in Pune. We just take each car as it comes and do what we can.
