Our little spot is located at Saishiv Park, specifically B 11, right in the middle of Pimprigaon. Pune 17 is a busy area, but our corner is usually okay once you get off the main street. Non isn't a big operation by any means. It’s just a few of us working out of this space. We’ve been here for a couple of years now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The morning starts with the sound of the neighbors heading out and the local shops opening their shutters. We spent a lot of time getting the inside of the office to feel right. It’s not professional in the sense of glass walls and marble floors, but it’s comfortable. We have a big window that lets in some light, which helps when the clouds roll in during the monsoon. The furniture is a mix of stuff we bought and some pieces we brought from home. We spend most of our hours here, drinking way too much tea and trying to keep up with the tasks for the week. Sometimes the internet acts up, but that’s just part of the deal. We know the guy at the corner shop by name, and he knows how we like our snacks. It’s a local way of doing things. We don't have big meetings or presentations. We just sit down, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down and the traffic settles.
