Nitin Transport

Our office is in Ghorpadi, right near where B G Shirke Co is. If you know that big company, you can’t miss us. Transport is a tough business because there’s always something happening with the trucks or the drivers. We spend a lot of time on our phones making sure things are where they should be. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so the desks are never really clean for long. It’s a busy area with a lot of heavy vehicles moving around all the time. Sometimes the noise from the railway line nearby makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been operating Nitin Transport out of this Ghorpadi spot for years. It’s a practical location for what we do. We don’t have a big waiting room or fancy chairs. Most of the time, people just stand around the door talking about routes and fuel prices. It’s a lot of coordination and hoping the traffic isn't too bad on the highway. We keep the ledger books on the main table and try to stay on top of the schedule. Some nights we stay late when a big delivery is coming in. It’s just the way the work goes. No two days are exactly the same here. We just focus on getting the trucks out and back safely. It gets stressful but we have been doing this for long enough that we handle it.
