New Prince Mens Parlour

You can find us over at Shree Chaitanya Complex, right in Shop No 7. We are in the Parvati area of Pune, very close to the Shani Mandir on the main road. It is a good spot because there is always something happening outside, especially with Muktangan English School right across from us in Shivdarshan. During the mornings, it is mostly quiet, but once the school lets out or people get off work, the shop fills up fast. I have been working at this chair for years now. My hands are used to the rhythm of the clippers and the comb. We have a few regulars who come in every two weeks like clockwork, and we usually end up talking about the local news or how the traffic is getting worse every year. The shop has simple tiles and a few posters on the walls that have been there forever. We are not trying to be a fancy spa; we just give decent haircuts and shaves to the men in the neighborhood. Sometimes the kids from the school come in with their parents, and it gets a bit noisy, but we like the energy. We try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets everywhere no matter how much you sweep. It is a honest living, and we enjoy being a part of this community. If you are ever near the temple, you will likely see our sign.
