New Paint Traders

The shop is located at 813 Raviwar Peth, right in the A Block of the APMC Yard. If you know the yard, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and the laborers moving goods around. We’ve been running New Paint Traders from this spot for a while. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is always the sound of horns and people shouting. We mostly deal with paint and related stuff for traders and shops. Our space is filled with cans of all sizes. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit because of all the stock. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s a practical place for people who need to get their supplies and move on. The walls are a bit stained from years of moving cans around. We open up early because the yard starts working before the rest of the city. By the time most people are having breakfast, we’ve already loaded a couple of small tempos. My brother and I manage most of it. We keep a simple record of everything. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and shifting. We don't use any high-tech systems, just the old-fashioned way of doing business. It gets tiring by evening, but we like the rhythm of the market. Being in Raviwar Peth feels like being in the heart of the trade. Every day is a bit of a struggle with the space, but we manage.
