Ghorpadi is a bit of a quieter part of Pune compared to the main city center, and that is where we have our office. We are a software company, so the daily routine is mostly about sitting at desks and working through code. The office is pretty simple, with rows of computers and a small area for making tea or coffee. We have some windows that look out over the local streets, and you can see the commuters heading to the station. It’s a regular nine-to-five kind of place, though sometimes we stay late if a project is acting up. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we’ve added things over the years as we grew. We don't have any of those fancy bean bags or game rooms you hear about in tech startups. We just have our chairs and our screens. The neighborhood has a few good places to eat, so we usually head out together for lunch. It’s a friendly atmosphere, more like a group of friends working together than a big company. We know each other's families and what everyone likes to do on the weekends. Working in Pune means we deal with the usual traffic issues, but being in Ghorpadi makes it a little easier. We just focus on the tasks we have and try to keep our clients happy with what we build. There is always a lot of chatter about cricket during the tea breaks.
