We run our operations out of Plot No. 1132/3 in the Vishnu Darshan Apartment building. It’s right on Fergussan College Road, which is always full of students, traffic, and shoppers. Our office isn't anything like those glass-walled buildings you see in the new IT parks. It’s an older apartment space that we’ve converted to work in. There are stacks of blueprints and files on almost every surface. We spend a lot of our time looking at site plans and discussing technical details with each other. The sound of the traffic on FC Road is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a smaller, more tight-knit group here. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to people; we just explain what needs to be done for a project to work. Sometimes we are out on sites checking things, and other times we are stuck here in the apartment finishing up paperwork. It’s a bit of a mix. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the drawings right and making sure the math adds up before anything gets built. Lunch usually involves someone going out to get snacks from one of the nearby stalls on the road. It’s a comfortable, practical way to work in a very busy part of Pune. We’ve been here long enough that the building feels like a second home to us now.
