Duke World News is based out of Surya Plaza, specifically room 214. We are located in Navi Peth along L. B. S Marg. It’s an old part of town and the building has been there for quite a while. Our office isn't very large, just enough space for a few desks and a lot of papers stacked up. We spend our days keeping track of what’s happening and trying to put it all together into something people can read. It gets pretty hectic when there’s a lot of news breaking at once. The phones ring quite a bit and there is usually someone typing away in the corner. We aren't a massive media corporation with fancy studios. It’s just a group of us who like knowing what’s going on in the world and sharing it. Navi Peth is a good spot because it’s central, though parking can be a real headache around Surya Plaza sometimes. We’ve been in this office for a long time now. The walls are covered in old clippings and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. It feels like a real workspace, a bit messy but everything has its place. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the afternoon stories. It’s a simple life here at 214, just focused on getting the facts and writing them down before the day ends. It is regular work for us.
