Narayani Foundation

The Narayani Foundation is based out of Kondhwa Khurd, right near the SBI. We also have ties to Cholanagar and the area around Cholanayakanahalli. Specifically, you can find us at 6th Cross in the Cil Layout 3 area. It is a bit of a long address to write out, but it makes sense once you are standing here. We have been operating in this spot for a while now. It started out as just a small idea and then we needed a physical space to keep things running. It is not a very loud place. We prefer to keep things quiet so we can focus. There are a few of us who come in every day. We usually start the day by cleaning up the space and checking what needs to be done. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of the city. We have some old chairs and a few tables that have seen better days, but they work fine for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. That is just how life is here. We don't have any big signs or bright lights outside. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in the layout. It is just a practical way to run things without all the extra fuss that some other places have. I drink coffee while looking out at the street.
