Nandkishor Traders

Nandkishor Traders is tucked away in Budhwar Peth on Shivaji Road. Our shop is at Sahu Chowk, Survey No 73, right near the famous Tulsi Baug market. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how packed it gets. Every inch of space is used for something. We’ve been trading here for years, dealing with all sorts of goods that come through the market. The building is old and has a lot of character, just like the rest of the street. It’s a noisy, busy place but there’s a lot of energy in it. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the shutters in the morning and start the day. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for a long time. They know where we are even without a map. We handle everything from bulk orders to small walk-ins. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting bags and keeping track of the books. Sometimes the rain makes the narrow lanes a bit of a mess, but we keep going. We don’t really use big words or marketing tricks. We just sell what people need at a price that works for everyone. It’s a family-style environment here. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors between sales. That’s just the way life moves in Budhwar Peth. It’s busy, it’s loud, and it’s home for us.
