S. S. Enterprises

We’ve been running S. S. Enterprises out of Shop No. 5 at Satyam Apartment for a good while now. It’s right near Ranka Hospital here in Mukund Nagar. The shop isn’t huge, but we make it work with all the stuff we keep inside. Most days start early, usually getting things ready before the sun gets too hot. People from the neighborhood drop by often. Sometimes they just need one small thing, and other times it’s a bigger order. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything like that. Most folks find us because they live nearby or heard about the shop from a neighbor. The shelves stay pretty packed, and I try to keep everything in its place, though it gets messy when we are busy. Satyam Apartment is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the street. We handle various tasks throughout the day, from checking what we have left in stock to making sure deliveries go out okay. It’s honest work and keeps us on our feet. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to actually have a tea in peace. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing our bit in Mukund Nagar and making sure the shop stays running right for everyone who relies on us. It is just me and a couple of others most days, making sure the gates open on time and the work gets done before we head home.
