Mr Vivek Bhide

Vivek Bhide operates out of Sakalnagar in the Aundh area of Pune. If you know Pune at all, you know Sakalnagar is one of those established, green societies that has been around for decades. It is a peaceful spot tucked away from the main Aundh road traffic which can get quite loud. I decided to set things up here because it is close to home and I do not like the idea of sitting in a glass building in a technology park all day. My workspace is just a room filled with books and my old computer. Aundh has changed so much since I first came here, with all the new malls and fancy cafes, but this little corner remains quiet. I spend most of my time answering emails and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a quick chat while they are out for their morning walk or taking the dog out. It is that kind of place. I don’t really follow a strict nine-to-five schedule because work and life just sort of blend together here. The trees around the building keep it cool, even in the summer months when the sun is harsh. I handle everything myself, from the billing to the actual work. It is a one-man show, and that is how I like it. No big meetings, just practical daily tasks. Being in the 411007 area makes it easy for courier guys.
