We’re over at Market Yard in Mangalwar Peth. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening. Our place is at number 1. We handle cargo, so there’s always boxes and pallets moving around. It gets pretty loud with all the trucks and people shouting. We don’t have a quiet, air-conditioned office with glass walls. It’s more of a working space where things actually happen. We spend our time checking manifests and making sure the right stuff goes on the right truck. It’s easy to lose track of things if you aren't careful, so we try to stay on top of the paperwork. The market yard is a busy place to be based. We see all kinds of goods coming through here. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives late. We just get on with it. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the pace. We aren't doing anything fancy. We just move cargo from one place to another and try to keep everything organized in the middle of all the chaos. It's a lot of dust and loud noises but we like the energy of the market. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the cargo loaded and out the door on time. There's always someone nearby selling snacks or tea, which helps.
