We’ve got our place at 15/1 in Bhosari, which is pretty much the heart of the industrial zone. Ashwini Tools isn't a massive corporation; we're just a local outfit that’s been around for a bit. The building is a simple one-story structure that we’ve made our own over the years. Bhosari is always humming with the sound of machinery and traffic, and we fit right into that. Our space is divided between the workshop area and a small section where we handle the billing and phone calls. It’s usually pretty greasy work, so the floors aren't exactly spotless, but that’s expected in our line of business. We don't spend much on making the place look pretty because that’s not what our customers care about. They just want to know we’re here and that we’re doing our job. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner, and neighbors from the nearby units often stop by to chat for a minute. It’s a friendly atmosphere despite all the heavy lifting. The days start early here and end when the work is finished. We don't have fancy titles or a dress code; we just wear what’s comfortable and get our hands dirty. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We know the area well and everyone knows where 15/1 is. It's a loud and busy life, but it suits us just fine.
