Our place, Mohan Metals, is tucked away in Phase II of the Camp area. You can find us on Center Street, specifically on the 6th Main. The address is 413, though sometimes the numbers on this street get a bit confusing for people who aren't from around here. We deal with all kinds of metal day in and day out. It’s heavy work and my back feels it by Friday, but it’s what we know. The shop is filled with various sheets, rods, and scrap that we sort through. We aren't a big corporation with suits and ties. We’re just local guys wearing work boots and old shirts. The 6th Main gets a lot of trucks coming through, so it’s always a bit noisy outside. Inside, it’s the sound of metal clanging together. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. People come to us when they need a specific piece of brass or steel for a project they’re working on at home or for their own small shops. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just answer the phone and talk to whoever walks through the door. It’s a practical business. We try to keep things organized, but when you’re moving this much weight around, it gets a bit messy sometimes. That is just how a metal yard works. We like being part of the Camp community here and knowing our neighbors by their first names.
