R R Scrap Merchant

We operate R R Scrap Merchant out in Moshi, right on Sant Sena Maharaj Marg at 203/204. Our yard is a big open space where we collect all kinds of things that people don't want anymore. We have piles of iron rods, old plastic drums, and stacks of cardboard that reach pretty high. It is a messy business, and our hands are usually covered in grease or rust by the end of the morning. We spend a lot of time weighing things on the big scale at the front. Trucks come in and out all day, dropping off loads of metal or picking up stuff we have sorted. It gets really loud when the metal is being moved around or when the cutters are working. The sun beats down on the yard, so we mostly stay under the tin roof when we can. We have been here in Moshi for a good while, watching the area grow with more factories and warehouses. People from the nearby industries often bring us their leftovers, and we have to sort through it all piece by piece. It is heavy work and there is always a lot of dust flying around, especially when the wind picks up. We don't have an office really, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and the phone. It is a honest way to spend the day, even if it is a bit dirty.
