Mayaa Play School & Day Care Centre

Down in Gurudwara Colony in Lohegaon, we have Mayaa Play School & Day Care Centre. It’s located at Survey No 164/3/1/1. It’s usually quite loud here because of the little ones running around. We start the day early when parents drop their kids off before they go to their jobs. Most of the families live right here in Lohegaon or nearby in Pune. The space is filled with toys and little chairs for the children. We spend a lot of time just watching over them, making sure they don't fall or get into trouble. There's a lot of cleaning up to do every single day. Snacks, spilled juice, and toys everywhere—that’s just a normal Tuesday for us. We also have the day care part, so some kids stay until late in the evening. They have their nap times and their play times. It’s a very lived-in space. We don't have fancy decorations, just things that the kids made or posters they like to look at. It feels like a second home for some of these kids because they spend so many hours here. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s a handy spot for a play school. Sometimes the kids cry when they arrive, but they usually settle down once they see their friends and the toys. We just try to keep everyone happy and safe until their parents come back at the end of the day. It's a busy life, but we're used to the noise by now.
