Mapel Bear International Pre School

Our school is located out on Sinhagad Road, right at Survey No 24 in the Vadgaon Budruk area. If you know this part of Pune, you know how the traffic can get, but once you get inside the school gates, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have been running Mapel Bear International Pre School here for the little kids in the neighborhood. The name on the sign says international, but we are very much a local operation. We have rooms filled with all the stuff toddlers need, like blocks and colorful mats on the floor. The kids spend their time learning how to count and their ABCs. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a regular building that we’ve converted for school use. We have a few teachers who are really good at handling the crying and the messes that happen every day. There is always a smell of crayons and maybe some spilled juice in the air, which is just part of the job. We have a small area for them to play in, nothing huge, but it's enough for them to burn off some energy. The gate at the front is kept closed during the day for safety. Sinhagad Road is right there, so we are always hearing the buses go by. It’s a busy spot but it works for the parents who live nearby and need a place for their kids during the morning hours. Anyway, it is what it is.
