Manoram Prathamik School

Manoram Prathamik School is tucked away at Plot No 50 in Skim 4 Sector 21 of Yamuna Nagar. It’s a primary school, so it’s basically non-stop energy from the moment the doors open. Being in a residential part of Pune makes it feel more like a neighborhood spot. The classrooms are filled with colorful drawings that the kids have pinned up, though some of them are starting to peel at the corners. We spend a lot of time tying shoelaces and helping kids find their lost water bottles. The building itself is pretty simple, just a few floors where we try to fit everyone in. Outside, the street can get a bit clogged when parents are dropping their children off in the mornings. We have a small area where the kids play, but it’s nothing like a big stadium. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to keep the rooms cool. The desks are small because the kids are small, and there’s always someone who’s spilled their ink or dropped their lunch. We go through a lot of cleaning supplies every week to keep the place looking decent. It’s a lot of noise and a lot of movement, but we’re used to it by now. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know the local shops and the people around here. It’s just a plain, local school that has been here for years.
