Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School

We are operating out of Swagat Bunglow in the Rajashri Shahu Society-2. It’s situated on the Main Bibwewadi Road in Bibvewadi. It’s a bit unusual because it’s a bungalow, so it doesn’t look like those big square school buildings you see elsewhere. It has more of a home-like feel to it, which we kind of like. The area around Bibvewadi is quite crowded, and the main road is always buzzing with traffic. Being inside the society helps a bit with the noise, but you can still hear the city outside the walls. We have different rooms for the different classes. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but we make it work with what we have. Pune 411037 is our local area. The garden area of the bungalow is where the kids spend their time during the breaks. It’s not a polished corporate environment. The paint might be peeling in a few spots and the stairs are a bit narrow. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big promises. We just open the gates every morning and get to work teaching the upper primary students. It’s a very local operation. Most people who live in the society know us well. We just try to keep things running smoothly day to day without any fuss. It's a decent place to be for everyone involved. We just take it one day at a time here.
