Manakarnika Aushadhalaya

Manakarnika Aushadhalaya is tucked away in the Shedge Building on Padwal Lane. We’re in the Chinchwad S Block MIDC area, not far from Chaphekar Chowk. If you walk into our shop, the first thing you’ll probably notice is the smell of various herbs and traditional medicines. We’ve been here for a good bit, serving the people who work in the MIDC and the families living nearby. It’s a simple setup with rows of bottles and packets on the wooden shelves. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in looking for something to help with a cough or just wanting to feel a bit better using traditional ways. It’s not like those modern pharmacies with bright neon lights. It’s a bit more low-key here. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. Sometimes it gets busy when the factory shifts change, and the lane fills up with people. We just keep doing what we do, measuring out what’s needed and listening to what people have to say about their health. The area around Chaphekar Chowk is always moving, but inside the aushadhalaya, things feel a bit more grounded. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just provide the medicines and advice that have been passed down for generations. We also have some dried roots hanging from the rafters and old glass jars that have been there since we opened.
