Mahedipur Primary School

We have a few cupboards for the books and a small area where the staff can sit. The parents are usually locals who live within walking distance, so we see them every day at the gate. Manjari Budruk still has a bit of a village feel to it, even though Pune is catching up. The weather affects us a lot; when it’s hot, the classrooms get stuffy, and when it rains, the ground outside gets pretty muddy. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a humble place, and we just focus on the basic things that primary kids need to know. There’s no big fancy sign, just a place where the local children come to start their schooling. It works for us.
