Mahagrapes

We are based in the Market Yard area of Gultekdi, specifically at Nisarg, E-15. If you know Pune, you know how busy Market Yard gets, especially early in the morning. It’s always full of trucks and people moving crates around. We focus on grapes, obviously. Our office is tucked away in the middle of all that action. It’s a very practical space—no fancy decorations, just desks, phones, and a lot of talk about harvests and weather. We work with a lot of different grape growers. During the season, it gets incredibly busy here. There are phones ringing constantly and people coming in and out with updates from the vineyards. We spend a lot of time checking on quality and making sure everything is ready for transport. When it’s not grape season, things quiet down a little, but there’s still plenty of planning to do for the next year. The air in Gultekdi always smells like fresh produce. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s the heart of the trade. We’ve been in this spot for years. We know the other traders and the loaders by name. It’s a community. We don't have a big corporate structure; we just focus on getting the grapes from the farms to where they need to go. It’s a lot of hard work but it feels right for a local business like ours.
