Aggarwal Traders

We’ve been here in Kalyani Nagar for quite some time now, just running Aggarwal Traders as a family thing mostly. It started out small but we’ve kept at it because people around here need things. We deal with all sorts of supplies, mostly building stuff or whatever people ask for when they come by. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place with shelves full of stock. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in here when the trucks arrive with new batches of inventory, but we manage. My father used to handle most of the talking, but now I’m here most days along with a couple of helpers who know where everything is kept. Kalyani Nagar has changed a lot since we opened, more cars and bigger buildings now, but we’re still in the same spot. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that, just open the shutters early in the morning and wait for the regulars. Most of the folks who come in are neighbors or contractors who have been buying from us for years. They know we keep what they need. Sometimes we run out of specific items, but we just tell them to come back in a few days when the next delivery arrives. It’s a simple way of working. We just try to keep the books straight and make sure the customers get what they paid for without too much fuss.
