Mahadev Jagdale

My name is Mahadev Jagdale and I live and work here in Nanded. This is where I have spent most of my life. It is not like the big cities, things move a bit slower here. My place is easy to find because most people in the neighborhood know where I am located. I don't have a very large office, just a small space where I can handle my daily business. I usually open up early in the morning before it gets too hot. Nanded has its own charm, especially near the river area. I see many of the same faces every day when I go out for tea or to pick up supplies. It is a place where you can still stop and talk to someone on the street for twenty minutes without feeling like you are wasting time. My work involves a lot of talking to people and helping them out with small tasks. I don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics that I need to keep things moving. Some days are quiet and I just sit and watch the traffic go by. It is a peaceful way to make a living and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now. I have a small radio that plays old songs in the background while I am working on my ledger. It keeps me company when there are no customers around. I plan to keep doing this for many more years.
