Magic Memories International Preschool

Magic Memories International Preschool is up on the 4th floor of Gulmohar Centre Point, in Office No 406. Viman Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and being in a commercial building means we share the elevators with all sorts of people going to work. It’s funny seeing the little kids standing next to people in suits in the morning. Since we’re on the 4th floor, we get a decent view of the street below, though we’re mostly busy looking after the toddlers. The space is filled with toys, small chairs, and drawings taped to the walls. It’s never really quiet here until after the kids leave. We spend a lot of time wiping down tables and making sure nobody has lost a shoe or a water bottle. Working in an office building has its quirks, like waiting for the maintenance guy to fix the lights or making sure the air conditioning is actually working during the summer months. Most of the parents work nearby, so drop-offs are usually a bit rushed while they check their watches. We try to keep things simple and organized, even when it feels a bit chaotic with ten kids talking at once. It’s a small team of us here, and we mostly just handle things as they come. There isn’t much downtime, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with preschoolers in the city.
