Maahi Art Creations

Living and working in Aasik Society is pretty quiet compared to the rest of Pune. Maahi Art Creations is basically just a room filled with stuff. I have got jars of paint, bits of fabric, and stacks of paper everywhere. It is not very organized, to be honest. I often lose my favorite brush and find it a week later under a pile of sketches. The society kids sometimes peek through the window when they are playing outside. It is a 411003 area, so it has that old-school residential feel. I don't have a big storefront or anything. Most of what I do happens on a wooden table that is wobbling a bit now. I should probably fix that. The light is good in the morning, which helps with the work. I spend hours just sitting there. Sometimes the neighbors come over to borrow something or just to see what I am making. It is a slow life. I don't follow a strict schedule. If I am tired, I make some tea and sit on the balcony for a bit. The walls have some smudges from when I was moving some larger pieces around last month. I don't mind. It feels like a place where things actually happen. Pune is getting so big, but this little corner of the society feels the same as it did years ago. I just keep busy with my hands and try not to let the clutter get too bad.
